“Wordly and other-worldly sounds can be heard from Burnham's musical and personal journeys as his soulful voice and violin lead you down some open roads and dark alleys, and bring you to some spots you may not have known even exist.” —-All About Jazz

Sarah King & The Smoke Rings
Sarah King and The Smoke Rings evoke the '30's and '40's with their elegant sense of swing, hip arrangements, and, most importantly, love of The American Songbook. Sarah King's style is rooted in the past but unique to her, and she occasionally adds an extra dimension to the instrumental swing of the band through her deft ukelele playing. The subtly swinging accompaniment of Alex Levin on piano and Ben Cliness on upright bass casts a pleasurable spell. The band frequently expands to a quartet, featuring Ben Cliness on drums and the renowned bassist, Scott Ritchie.
