Roy Nathanson

Saxophone player, bandleader, composer, artist, actor, teacher & neighbor, Roy Nathanson has been called "the Poet on the Q Train". His bio is too varied and extensive to give it any justice in one paragraph, but trust us when we say that he is a jazz great and we are excited to welcome him back to The Castello Plan for an amazing night of jazz and soul.

Willy Gantrim

"I grew up in Houston in the smoldering heat, hit the road at 17 and lived in snowy Milwaukee, lonely, lonely Norman, ecstatic New Orleans, and haunted Olean. I live in home bittersweet home New York City now and enjoy singing with my good ol’ Stella and a Pignose. I perform songs I’ve written and songs that have already been written that I like.".

Sarah King & the Smoke Rings

lSarah King and The Smoke Rings evoke the '30's and '40's with their elegant sense of swing, hip arrangements, and, most importantly, love of The American Songbook.  Sarah King's style is rooted in the past but unique to her, and she occasionally adds an extra dimension to the instrumental swing of the band through her deft ukelele playing.  The subtly swinging accompaniment of Alex Levin on piano and Ben Cliness on upright bass casts a pleasurable spell.  The band frequently expands to a quartet, featuring Ben Cliness on drums and the renowned bassist, Scott Ritchie.

Miss Elizabeth & the Pint-Sized Cocktail Orchestra

Bob Parins' Pint-Sized Cocktail Orchestra is joined by Hot Sardines canary Miss Elizabeth for a night of crooning, swooning tunes from (and inspired by) the 1920s-1940s--a little jazz, a little country, and a whole lot of harmonies.
